Japanese Silky has their Gomboy Curve 240-8 folding saw which is a really good saw that can be used outdoors or at home in the garden. Silky saws are made of Japanese steel and are probably some of the best saws on the market. Their folding saws are quite popular with outdoor enthusiasts! The Curve version means that the saw blade has a curved shape which is especially good if you have to saw above shoulder height and keeps the saw in the saw groove.
The Pocketboy saws are fitted with GOM handles which are quite comfortable to hold and the grip reduces vibrations. The saw is very lightweight and has a really good balance, so you can really get sawing done even though the saw is small. The Gomboy saw is a folding saw which has 2 settings depending on what angle you want to saw at.
Gomboy 240-8 has coarse teeth, as it has 8 teeth of 30 mm.
The saw comes in a nice little plastic case that can be attached to, for example, a belt so you always know where you have the saw.
If you have not used a Silky Saw before, you should be aware that they have extremely sharp teeth to be able to drive through the wood without any problems.
