PolarStar F2 V2 M4, Standard FCU
The Polarstar F2 is in theory a Mini Fusion Engine. It offers the same adjustment/setting options and performance as the Fusion Engine in a cylinder size.
The F2's dual solenoid design provides the same functionality as the legendary Fusion Engine, but in a more compact design. Dual solenoids allow the nozzle and poppet valve to be adjusted independently of each other (just like a Fusion Engine). This allows you to fine-tune your unit to your exact needs. In addition, the F2 has the ability to change from open to closed bolt operation on the Fcu.
The F2 uses a new lightweight poppet valve design, but still functions in the same way as the Fusion Engine's poppet. Its poppet is able to operate at lower pressures and uses less air volume/pressure to operate, optimizing air consumption.
The robust design of the F2 allows for an operating range from 45psi to 145psi, making it possible to achieve velocities from CQB to DMR while using only one nozzle.
The F2 nozzle is spring loaded forward, providing consistent loading of the bullets regardless of operating pressure. It shares the same nozzle springs as the Fusion Engine with the option of both light and heavy springs.
The nozzle in an F2 can be changed to fit other types of riffs.
