The Mars Backpack is strong yet light, so it stays durable without adding weight. It has a removable foam panel that is easy to take out, which makes packing simple and lets you use the bag as cabin luggage. The harness is ergonomically designed with anatomically shaped, ventilated channels for extra comfort. The shoulder straps and hip belt are shaped for a good fit, and the bag has adjustable shoulder pads with a height-adjustable sternum strap. The hip belt has handy mesh pockets and reflectors.

The roomy main compartment has an internal organiser pocket and a hydration system that takes a water bladder, with a top opening for the drinking tube. The zipped bottom compartment lets you keep shoes or dirty items separate. On the front there is an admin pocket with an inner mesh pocket for better organisation, and elastic cord adjusters on both sides let you attach extra kit or clothing.

The mesh side pockets are ideal for bottles or other kit, and there is a hidden document pocket on the lower right of the back panel for quick access. Water-resistant zips protect the contents from moisture, and reflective details increase visibility in poor light. Side compression straps stabilise the load, and the gear loops suit trekking poles and other equipment. The rain cover, stored in a hidden bottom pocket, also has reflective details for extra safety.
