About Nine Ball Magazine Lip Seal TM G, 2 pcs
The Nine Ball Enhanced Magazine Lip Seal is a gas router – also called a magazine lip – for the gas magazines of the Tokyo Marui G series: G17, G18C, G26 and G26 Advance. The seal sits at the top of the magazine around the output valve and seals against the pistol's nozzle, so the gas goes straight from the magazine into the system. The pack contains 2 pcs in purple and is made in Japan by Laylax under the Nine Ball name.
The standard seal hardens over time and goes stiff in the cold, and then gas starts leaking between the magazine and nozzle. You notice it as lower velocity, weaker blowback and a hissing sound when you shoot. A new gas router is one of the cheapest and most effective upgrades for a gas Glock, because it sits exactly where the gas passes from magazine to pistol.
Aero channel, cold-resistant and smooth surface
Five reasons to switch to Nine Ball:
- Aero-shaped gas channel: The internal channel is shaped to give less resistance than the standard seal's straight hole, so more of the gas from each shot reaches the nozzle and drives the slide.
- Cold-resistant material: The material keeps its elasticity when the gas cools the magazine during rapid strings or in cold weather, when a standard seal goes hard and starts to leak.
- Smooth surface treatment: The specially treated surface lets the nozzle slide easily over the seal, so it neither sticks nor wears out as quickly as an untreated rubber seal.
- For Tokyo Marui G-series magazines: Fits the magazines for the TM G17, G18C, G26 and G26 Advance. A separate Nine Ball version is available for the TM Hi-Capa and P226.
- 2 pcs in the pack: Enough for two magazines – or one in use and one spare for the next time the seal wears out.
Maintenance and safety
- Empty the magazine of gas completely before pulling off the old seal and pressing the new one into place.
- Give the seal a drop of silicone oil so it seals well and the nozzle slides easily.
- Only use gas intended for airsoft, and check for leaks at the output valve after fitting.
