About Mil-Tec Jacket, Woodland, Kids
The Mil-Tec Woodland jacket is a military-style kids' jacket from the German brand Mil-Tec, which has made clothing and equipment inspired by military originals for many years. The jacket comes in the kids' sizes XXS, XS, S, XL and XXL and is a natural choice for playing in the woods, scouting, camping trips and for kids who want to dress a bit like dad or a big brother in camo.
Woodland – also known as M81 – is the four-colour camouflage pattern in green, brown, sand and black that US forces used from the early 1980s for a couple of decades. The pattern is designed for woodland and natural terrain with green and brown tones, so it blends well into European forests and hedgerows. It is still one of the best-known camo patterns, and Mil-Tec's kids' range also includes it as trousers, a T-shirt and a cap, so the jacket can be combined into a full set.
Kids' jacket in classic Woodland camo
What you need to know about the jacket:
- Woodland camo: The classic four-colour M81 pattern designed for woodland and green terrain – unlike desert patterns, for example, which stand out in green surroundings.
- Kids' sizes from XXS to XXL: The jacket comes in five kids' sizes, so it can grow with your child over several years. If you are unsure about the size, contact us before you order.
- Mil-Tec: Mil-Tec is one of the most widespread brands of military-style clothing and is known for sensible prices for everyday use.
- Build a set: Combine with the Woodland trousers for kids or the Mil-Tec Woodland kids' T-shirt in the same pattern.
- For play and the outdoors: A natural choice for woodland trips, scouting and school camps, where clothes are allowed to get dirty and be used hard.
Maintenance and safety
- Follow the care label in the jacket – wash it inside out at a low temperature to preserve the colours of the camo pattern.
- Avoid bleach and stain removers containing bleach, which leave light patches in the pattern.
- Check the care label before putting the jacket in the tumble dryer, as fabrics containing cotton can shrink.
- Camo makes a child hard to see in the woods – consider a reflector or a brightly coloured vest in traffic and when playing at dusk.
