Lecture with former hunter soldier Thomas Rathsack in Aulum!
Handelshuset Aulum has, in collaboration with Thomas Rathsack, given a lecture in Aulum! Thomas will come to Aulum on April 7th at Aulum Leisure Center from 7pm to 9pm. Your order confirmation is also your ticket. Therefore, select "Pick up in store" as the delivery method.
Thomas Rathsack comes and gives a lecture on "War and Brotherhood" where he tells more about why he decided to spend so many years of hard work and training to become part of the exclusive brotherhood Jærgerkorpset. Thomas comes and talks about what is in the word "Brotherhood" Is brotherhood just a romanticized cliché? Or is there a very special reason why this intense camaraderie and the special feeling of togetherness is so important when the Danish Jaeger soldiers go to war?
Thomas also discusses his motivations and moral considerations before going to war, and how this has affected him.
I wonder if he will also tell us a little about the TV2 program series "Korpset" where Thomas was the main director.
The lecture will take place in Aulum Fritidscenter (Markedspladen 10, 7490 Aulum). Included in the ticket is coffee and tea. There will also be the opportunity to buy beer and water if you wish. There will also be a competition for the lecture itself with a great prize up for grabs!
The store will also be open until 6:30 PM, the day there will be a lot of great offers for the start of the season! Therefore, it might be a really good idea to stop by the store before heading down to the Leisure Center for the lecture.. If you wish, people can also go together from the store to the Leisure Center!
