How to get started
Ask about a trial session
Most shooting clubs have regular training evenings and let newcomers try the club’s own air guns before joining.
10 and 15 metres
Air rifle and air pistol are usually shot indoors at 10 metres. Some clubs also have 15 metre ranges. Ask the club what their range is approved for.
Your own equipment
When you want your own rifle, the right pellets and a good scope make all the difference. See air guns or find pellets.
Practise at home
Print our free targets in competition size, and find your rifle’s favourite pellet with the pellet test target.

We keep adding to the map. Send us the club’s name, town, website and the air gun disciplines you offer – and we will add you. We are also happy to work with shooting clubs on pellets, targets and equipment.
