About Fenix ARE-D2 Charger
The Fenix ARE-D2 is a dual-bay smart charger powered via Micro USB. It is compatible with Li-ion and Ni-MH/Ni-Cd batteries and charges at up to 2 A.
It has an LCD screen that clearly shows charging, discharging and battery status. It also has several built-in protection features that charge the batteries safely without the risk of overcharging, and a built-in microcomputer that optimises battery life.
Battery types that can be charged:
Li-ion: 10440, 14500, 16340, 18650, 21700 & 26650
Ni-MH/Ni-Cd: AAA, AA & C
It takes 1.3 hours to charge a 2600 mAh Li-ion battery from empty at 2 A.
The charger can be powered in many ways. It has a standard Micro USB input that can be connected to a power bank, a solar panel or a wall socket.
It can also work as a power bank, which means you can put 1–2 batteries in the charger and use them to charge your phone, for example.
