Spot On Pars, 5.5 mm, 250 pcs

Spot On Pars is a heavy diabolo pellet in 5.5 mm (.22) for air rifles, especially PCPs. Each pellet weighs 1.175 g (18.13 grains), and the tin contains 250 pcs. At that weight, Pars is made for high-power rifles, where a heavier pellet uses the air more efficiently and retains energy further out.

Heavy pellets are less sensitive to wind and hold their velocity better over distance than light pellets, but they need a rifle with enough power to drive them. In a low-powered springer, such a heavy pellet will give a curved trajectory – Spot On Hunter or Match are better choices there. Pars belongs in a regulated PCP rifle.

18 grains, 250 pcs and built for PCP

Five features of Spot On Pars:

• 1.175 g / 18.13 grains: Among the heavier 5.5 mm pellets, where most standard pellets are 14–16 grains.
• For PCP rifles: The high weight suits high-power rifles, where the pellet can be accelerated properly.
• Stable flight: A heavy pellet is less affected by crosswind than a light pellet at the same distance.
• Flat trajectory in the right rifle: In a powerful PCP rifle, the weight gives a flat, predictable trajectory at longer range.
• 250 pcs per tin: The tin protects the pellets from pressure and deformation during transport.

Maintenance and safety

• The pellets contain lead – wash your hands after handling, and do not let children play with them.
• Keep the tin closed and dry so the pellets do not oxidise or get damaged skirts that affect accuracy.
• Always test new pellets in your own gun – accuracy depends on the barrel, and what shoots best in one gun is not necessarily best in another.
• Only shoot at a safe backstop, and wear eye protection. Check the air gun regulations in your country before purchase.
