About Spot On Match, 4.5 mm, 400 pcs
Spot On Match in 4.5 mm (.177) is a wadcutter match pellet for precise target shooting. Each pellet weighs 0.60 g (9.25 grains), and the tin contains 400 pcs. The flat front cuts clean, sharply defined holes in the target, so shots are easy to score.
4.5 mm is the standard calibre for target shooting with air rifles and air pistols, and the low weight gives controlled flight at the short distances where match shooting takes place. The pellet works in both springer and PCP air guns and is an obvious practice pellet when you shoot a lot of strings.
Classic 4.5 mm match pellet
Five features of Spot On Match 4.5 mm:
- Wadcutter: Clean, clear shot holes that make scoring easy and accurate.
- 0.60 g / 9.25 grains: A light pellet with stable, controlled flight at short target distances.
- For springer and PCP: Works in both air rifles and air pistols of either type.
- Consistent results: Produced with a focus on shot-to-shot repeatability.
- 400 pcs per tin: Plenty of shots per tin for practice and competition.
Maintenance and safety
- The pellets contain lead – wash your hands after handling, and do not let children play with them.
- Keep the tin closed and dry so the pellets do not oxidise or get damaged skirts that affect accuracy.
- Always test new pellets in your own gun – accuracy depends on the barrel, and what shoots best in one gun is not necessarily best in another.
- Only shoot at a safe backstop, and wear eye protection. Check the air gun regulations in your country before purchase.
