About Smith & Wesson M&P 40
The Umarex Smith & Wesson M&P40 is a CO2 airsoft pistol licensed by Smith & Wesson. The slide is fixed, so the gas is used to propel the BB rather than to move the slide.
The pistol shoots at 132 m/s, and the magazine holds 15 BBs.
What you need to know about the M&P40
- Official licence: The pistol carries the genuine Smith & Wesson markings and looks like the original.
- Fixed slide: No blowback – this gives more shots per CO2 capsule and keeps the price down.
- Accessory rail: A 20 mm rail under the barrel takes a light or laser.
- CO2-powered: Uses CO2 capsules, which are not included.
Who is it for?
It suits you if you want an affordable, simple CO2 pistol with a recognisable look. See more CO2 airsoft guns.
Maintenance and safety
Remove the CO2 capsule when the pistol is not in use, so the seals last longer. Always wear approved eye protection when shooting airsoft – both you and those around you.
