About Wolverine MTW Billet Gen 3 Tactical XB 10" HPA
The Wolverine MTW Billet Gen 3 Tactical XB 10" is the versatile mid-length model: short enough for CQB, with enough reach for outdoor sites. It measures 690–775 mm and weighs around 1860 g. XB stands for the two key upgrades: the new INFERNO XTS engine and the BLINC Bluetooth FCU, which lets you set up the rifle from your phone.
The MTW runs on HPA, so there is no gearbox, spring or piston to wear out. You get the same velocity shot after shot – even in winter, when gas replicas lose power. The rifle ships set to around 120 m/s with 0.20 g BBs, and velocity is adjusted at the regulator so it can be matched to your site's limit. Pistol grip, stock and trigger are real-steel compatible, so they can be swapped for parts of your choice.
Inferno XTS, BLINC and billet receiver
What defines the Tactical XB 10":
- INFERNO XTS HPA engine: Extended stroke with separate nozzle and poppet gives steady airflow and fast response, and with no gears or piston there are far fewer wear parts than in an AEG.
- BLINC Bluetooth FCU: Fire modes, dwell and rate of fire (approx. 5–35 rounds per second) are adjusted via the app without stripping the rifle – semi and full auto can be programmed to suit site rules.
- Gen 3 billet receiver and Invictus MK-1 rail: CNC-machined aluminium M4 receiver set and a 10" M-LOK rail with a Picatinny top rail for optics and M-LOK for grips, lights and lasers.
- 285 mm inner barrel and standard hop-up bucking: 10.3" outer barrel with 1045 steel flash hider and 14 mm CCW (−) thread. The hop-up takes a standard AEG bucking, so it is easy to replace and upgrade.
- Empty mag detection and real-steel parts: The rifle stops when the magazine is empty with PTS EPM-MTW magazines, and standard M4 AEG magazines can also be used. Premium pistol grip with built-in filtered air line, heavy-duty mil-spec stock and T5 curved trigger.
Maintenance and safety
- HPA tank, regulator and FCU battery are not included. The rifle runs at approx. 80–140 psi – if you are new to HPA, contact us and we will help you with the right setup, and our workshop in Aulum, Denmark can set it up for you.
- Chronograph the rifle before you play and adjust the regulator to your site's limit. Recommended BB weight is 0.28–0.30 g, e.g. Hank Tactical BIO.
- Shut off the air, disconnect the air line and FCU battery after use, and empty the magazine before putting the rifle away.
- Always wear approved eye protection and store the rifle out of reach of children.
