About Wolverine MTW-308 Tactical XB

Wolverine MTW-308 Tactical XB is built on a CNC-machined .308 receiver set in billet aluminium and has the large, distinctive look of the SR-25/AR-10 platform. The rifle is made for the DMR player who wants accuracy at range without giving up a semi-automatic platform. It is 865 mm long and weighs approx. 2270 g.

XB stands for the new INFERNO XTS engine and BLINC Bluetooth FCU. The Tactical XB does not have the Quake recoil system found on the XBR version. As an HPA rifle it has no gearbox, spring or piston to wear out, so velocity is the same shot after shot – also in winter. The rifle is supplied set to approx. 120 m/s with 0.20 g BBs, and velocity is adjusted at the regulator, so it can be set to your site's DMR limit.

.308 receiver, Inferno XTS and BLINC

What defines the MTW-308 Tactical XB:

  • INFERNO XTS HPA engine: Extended stroke with separate nozzle and poppet gives stable airflow and fast response, and with fewer wear parts than an AEG it holds its performance over time.
  • BLINC Bluetooth FCU: Fire modes, dwell and rate of fire are adjusted from your phone, so the rifle can for example be locked to semi if the site requires it for DMRs.
  • Billet .308 receiver and Invictus MK-1 rail: CNC-machined aluminium that strips without tools like a real rifle, and a 13" aluminium rail with M-LOK on 7 sides.
  • 380 mm inner barrel: 14.5" outer barrel with an included 1.5" extension, Invictus MS-1 flash hider and 14 mm CCW (−) thread. The long inner barrel is chosen for accuracy at range.
  • SR-25 magazines: Uses MTW-spec 308 magazines (140 rounds) with empty mag detection and can also use A&K and Classic Army SR-25 AEG magazines. M4 magazines do not fit. The rifle also has a DLG Premium Real Steel grip, Crane stock and T5 curved trigger.

Maintenance and safety

  • HPA tank, regulator and FCU battery are not included. The rifle runs at 80–140 psi – if you are new to HPA, get in touch and we will help you find the right setup, and our workshop in Aulum, Denmark can set it up for you.
  • Check velocity with a chronograph before you play, and adjust the regulator to your site's DMR limit. Recommended BB weight is 0.28–0.30 g, e.g. Hank Tactical BIO.
  • Shut off the air, disconnect the air line and FCU battery after use, and empty the magazine before putting the rifle away.
  • Always wear approved eye protection, and store the rifle out of reach of children.
