About Tokyo Marui VSR-ONE Sniper Rifle, Black
The Tokyo Marui VSR-ONE is a modern development of the legendary VSR-10 platform, which for decades has been the reference for manual airsoft sniper rifles. The rifle features a new M-LOK-standard receiver design, QD sling points and an AR15-style pistol grip, and the stock folds – making it considerably easier to manoeuvre in tight spaces and during transport, without compromising the accuracy the VSR platform is known for.
Bolt-action rifles are often preferred by players who prioritise quiet, precise engagements over volume of fire. The challenge has traditionally been that compact designs limit upgrade options. The VSR-ONE solves exactly that by keeping full internal compatibility with the huge range of VSR-10 upgrade parts, so you get a modern, lightweight exterior without giving up access to the deep tuning market the platform is famous for.
A solid foundation for further upgrades – the combination of compact design, adjustable trigger unit and full VSR-10 compatibility makes the VSR-ONE an obvious starting point for players who want to fine-tune the rifle's performance themselves.
- Full VSR-10 parts compatibility: As the VSR-ONE shares its internal system with the VSR-10, you can freely fit proven upgrade parts such as 90° pistons, piston sears and steel trigger units – something most newer sniper platforms do not offer to the same extent.
- Adjustable metal trigger unit: Unlike many factory rifles with a fixed trigger, you can fine-tune both trigger weight and travel, giving better shot control and more consistent results at long range.
- Enlarged bolt handle: The bolt is designed for faster cycling and runs smoothly through the receiver – a detail that reduces the risk of losing your sight picture between shots.
- M-LOK handguard and QD sling points: Give direct access to modern accessory mounting without adapters, unlike older VSR models that often need extra rail systems.
- 14 mm CCW barrel thread with end cap: Lets you fit a mock suppressor or conceal a longer inner barrel, giving flexibility to optimise both sound and range depending on your setup.
Maintenance and safety
As a bolt-action rifle, the VSR-ONE should be treated like any other spring-powered airsoft rifle: avoid dry-firing without BBs, as this puts unnecessary strain on the piston and spring. The rifle's factory muzzle velocity is limited by Japanese law, so if you want higher performance you will need suitable upgrade parts – choose the spring strength to suit your physical ability, as strong springs can be heavy to cock, especially when shooting prone. Store the rifle dry and uncocked (without a compressed spring) for long-term storage to preserve the spring's performance.
