About M85
The M85 is a simple, electric beginner's rifle in G36C style for target shooting in the garden. It is built in plastic with low weight and low energy – it is rated below 0.5 J – and fires 6 mm BBs in both semi and full auto. It is meant for anyone who wants to try airsoft at home without investing in a game-ready replica.
The set is complete: battery, charger, shooting glasses, mock suppressor, loading rod and sling are included, so all you need is BBs – and extra glasses if several people are shooting together. At approx. 40 m/s with 0.20 g BBs, the M85 is in a completely different category from a game-ready airsoft gun for the field, which typically shoots around 90–110 m/s. The low energy makes it well suited to shooting cans and targets at short range, but not to games on an airsoft site.
Complete garden set in G36 design
What you get with the M85:
- Electric operation: The rechargeable battery sits in the handguard and powers the rifle in both semi and full auto, so you don't need to cock it before every shot as with a spring rifle.
- Low energy: Below 0.5 J and approx. 40 m/s with 0.20 g BBs – far less than game replicas, which suits garden use at short range.
- G36C design: Carry handle with rail on top, skeleton stock and vertical foregrip. The rifle is 727 mm long, or 880 mm with the mock suppressor.
- Transparent magazine: The magazine holds 45 BBs, and because it is transparent you can see when it needs refilling.
- Light BBs: The rifle is designed for light 0.12 g BBs, which keep their speed best in a low-energy system. We recommend Hank Tactical BIO 0.12 g.
Maintenance and safety
- Important: The charger does not switch off by itself when the battery is full. Charge the battery for a maximum of 3 hours and under supervision.
- Always wear shooting glasses – both the shooter and anyone standing nearby.
- Remove the battery from the rifle after use, and store it with no BBs in the magazine.
- Only use clean, undamaged BBs so they don't jam in the barrel. Airsoft guns can be test-fired in our shop in Aulum, Denmark.
