About Vortex StrikeFire II Red Dot Sight
The Vortex StrikeFire II is a red dot sight that, with its included cantilever mount, is made for AR rifles (M4 platform), but it fits many other guns as well. Unlike compact red dots such as the SPARC AR and Crossfire, the StrikeFire II is better for engaging several targets quickly, simply because it has a larger objective and a 30 mm tube, giving a wider field of view.
This red dot sight is well priced and can be used on many different guns with different mounts besides the included one, which gives a 40 mm sight height. You can choose between a red and a green dot, adjustable in 10 brightness settings. It uses a small CR2 battery, which is included. Battery life is 6000 hours at the lowest setting and 300 hours at maximum.
The sight is 142 mm long and weighs 204 g.
As a bonus, Vortex Optics offers its lifetime VIP warranty. VIP stands for "Very Important Promise" and is about you as the customer: whatever the problem or damage, Vortex promises to repair or replace the product free of charge.
