Stil Crin Snap Caps .243 Win

Stil Crin Snap Caps in .243 Win are aluminium dummy rounds for safe dry-fire practice and function testing of the rifle's action. They have the same dimensions as a .243 Win cartridge, so you can practise bolt manipulation, magazine changes and trigger work without live ammunition in the rifle.

The snap caps are made from durable aluminium and come in a pack of 2 pcs. They are also useful for checking that the magazine and action feed cartridges correctly, e.g. after cleaning or servicing the rifle.

Dry-fire practice without live rounds

Snap caps are an inexpensive piece of kit that makes both training and checking the rifle safer and easier.

• Calibre .243 Win: Fits rifles in .243 Win, so the snap cap sits in the chamber like a real cartridge.
• Aluminium: A durable material that withstands repeated loading and ejection better than plastic snap caps.
• Safe dry-fire practice: Practise handling, loading and trigger work at home without live ammunition.
• Function test of the action: Check that magazine, feeding and ejection work without having to fire.
• 2 pcs per pack: Two snap caps, so you can also practise magazine changes and reloading.

Maintenance and safety
Always keep snap caps separate from live ammunition, and before dry-fire practice check that there are no live rounds in the firearm, magazine or nearby. Replace the snap caps if they become worn or deformed, and store firearms and ammunition in line with the regulations that apply to you.
