About Stabilotherm Nak & Æd Wooden Cup, Elk
A "kuksa" wooden cup from Stabilotherm. The cup is best known from the Danish TV programme "Nak & Æd", where it is used often.
The cup is made in a distinctive Nordic design from Stabilotherm in surface-treated birch. It really comes into its own in the cold: however cold it gets, your lips will not freeze to the cup, as they can with a metal cup.
The cup is a good size, holding 120 ml, with a height of 45 mm, a length of approx. 160 mm at its longest and a diameter of 84 mm. That makes it ideal for carrying in a pocket or bag. It comes with a leather strap so you can attach it wherever you need it.
This wooden cup is a little special, as it has an engraving of an elk.
Please note that it should only be washed by hand. It does not take well to being scrubbed with soap or similar. A good tip is to rub it with a little cooking oil now and then when you wash it.
