Shooter G36 Outer Barrel

The Shooter G36 outer barrel is a replacement barrel for full-length G36 AEGs. The barrel is 475 mm long, as on most standard-version G36 replicas, and has a 14 mm CCW (counter-clockwise) thread at the muzzle, so you can screw a flash hider, tracer unit or mock suppressor straight on.

The outer barrel is the part that carries the muzzle device and protects the inner barrel. It is a typical wear part if the replica has been dropped or the thread is worn after many accessory changes, and it is also the part you replace if you want a different length or a new thread without buying a complete front assembly. 14 mm CCW is the industry standard on most modern airsoft guns, so most muzzle accessories fit without an adapter.

What you need to know before buying:

• Length 475 mm: Matches the full-length standard G36. For the shorter G36K there is a separate G36K outer barrel.
• 14 mm CCW thread: The standard thread on the vast majority of airsoft guns – flash hiders, tracer units and mock suppressors with 14 mm CCW screw straight on.
• Replacement for a worn thread: A damaged muzzle thread can rarely be repaired reliably; a new outer barrel gives you a clean, straight thread again.
• Keeps the G36 look: The barrel is made for the G36 platform, so its profile and mounting match the front of the replica.
• Simple replacement: The outer barrel is swapped without touching the gearbox, and the inner barrel and hop-up can be reused from your current setup.

Maintenance and safety

• Check the inner barrel length – the inner barrel must be shorter than the outer barrel so it does not protrude from the muzzle.
• Screw muzzle accessories on by hand and stop at resistance so the thread is not overtightened.
• Clean dirt and sand from the thread before fitting accessories, and check hop-up and velocity after the rebuild.
