Nebo Torchy 2K Torch

The Nebo Torchy 2K is a compact, rechargeable torch of around 110 mm with up to 2,000 lumens. It is made for trips, the workshop, the car and everyday carry, where you want a lot of light from a torch that still fits in your pocket. The body is anodised aluminium, and the torch is water-resistant to IPX6 and impact-resistant.

The torch has five light modes, which you switch between with Smart Power Control. Turbo gives 2,000 lumens and up to 200 m beam distance for 30 seconds at a time, after which the torch steps back to the previous mode to protect the LED and battery from overheating. This automatic step-down is normal on compact high-lumen torches – turbo is a short burst for lighting up an area, not a constant work light.

These are the key features of the Torchy 2K:

• Five light modes: Turbo 2,000 lumens (200 m), high 500 lumens for approx. 3.5 hours (90 m), medium 200 lumens for approx. 6 hours (50 m), low 35 lumens for approx. 30 hours (25 m) and strobe 1,000 lumens.
• Direct-to-Low: You can go straight to the lowest mode, so you do not dazzle yourself in the dark when you just need to find something in your bag.
• Power Memory Recall: The torch remembers the last mode used, so it switches on at the light level you normally use.
• Rechargeable with MagDock: The torch charges with the magnetic USB cable, so you avoid disposable batteries.
• Removable clip: A removable two-way steel clip lets the torch sit in a pocket or on a strap for hands-free use.

Maintenance and safety

• Never shine the torch directly into other people's eyes – especially not in turbo or strobe mode.
• The head gets warm during extended use on high. Do not lay the torch face down on fabric or flammable material while it is switched on.
• Recharge the torch after use, and keep the magnetic contact free of metal dust and dirt.
• IPX6 means the torch withstands rain and water jets, but it must not be submerged.
