Turnaround is 2–3 weeks from when we receive your gun.

- We build and measureChronograph reading in m/s with your BB weight, and test firing.

About the kit
The L96 upgrade kit is for the Well MB01 and other rifles in the TYPE 96 family. The kit brings together a reinforced trigger, a cylinder set, a precise hop-up chamber and a precision barrel, so the rifle can run a stronger spring and shoot more consistently.
On a standard L96, the trigger and cylinder are the parts that wear first with a stronger spring, while the hop-up and barrel determine accuracy. The kit tackles all four areas at once. The hop-up chamber and barrel are made to work together. You can fit the kit yourself, or let our workshop assemble and test it. When we fit it, we chronograph the velocity and record m/s and BB weight, so the rifle stays within the site's limits.
Trigger, cylinder, hop-up and barrel for TYPE 96
- Action Army trigger set TYPE 96: A reinforced trigger mechanism that can handle a stronger spring than the standard trigger.
- Raven cylinder set TYPE 96: A reinforced cylinder for the platform, so power can be increased without wearing the standard cylinder.
- PDI hop-up chamber TYPE 96: A precise chamber that gives more consistent hop-up and a more stable trajectory.
- PDI 6.01 mm precision barrel, 333 mm: A tight-bore barrel made for PDI's hop-up chamber, so chamber and barrel fit together precisely.
- Action Army M150 spring: A spring for the TYPE 96 platform. When fitted, velocity is measured so the rifle complies with the site's bolt action limits.
Maintenance and safety
- The upgrade requires disassembly of the cylinder and trigger mechanism. If you haven't done it before, we recommend having it fitted in our workshop
- Always measure velocity with a chronograph after fitting, and follow the site's limits and minimum engagement distances for bolt action
- Lubricate the cylinder and piston O-ring sparingly with silicone oil, and keep barrel and hop-up clean
- Store the rifle uncocked when not in use
- Always wear approved eye protection during play and testing
