About HFC M9IA
The HFC M9IA (based on the classic M92 platform) is a robust, reliable manual spring airsoft pistol, ideal for backyard shooting, target practice and as a dependable beginner's pistol. Because it is spring powered, it needs no gas, CO2 or batteries. Simply pull back the slide before each shot, which makes the pistol very cheap to run and completely independent of the weather.
Authentic weight, fixed hop-up and simple mechanics. The pistol is designed with a focus on ease of use and reliable mechanics:
- Manual spring mechanism and fixed hop-up: The spring mechanism delivers approx. 0.49 J (around 70 m/s with a standard 0.20 g BB). It has a fixed hop-up that gives the BB backspin for a more stable, straighter trajectory at short and medium range.
- Good weight and classic ergonomics: At just over 503 g, the pistol feels surprisingly realistic and balanced in the hand compared with many very light plastic models. The ergonomic grip and familiar M92 lines give a firm, non-slip hold when shooting.
- 15-round magazine and easy operation: The magazine holds up to 15 BBs (6 mm), giving you good strings of shots at the target before reloading. The manual safety and mechanical controls are on the left side of the pistol for intuitive operation.
