About E-Shooter Kestrel V3 SE ETU/MOSFET with App, V3 Gearbox
The E-Shooter Kestrel V3 SE is an app-controlled ETU with MOSFET for V3 gearboxes – the gearbox type found in the vast majority of AK replicas. The unit connects via Bluetooth to the Eshooter app, where you set pre-cocking, fire modes, rate of fire and battery protection without opening the gearbox again.
E-Shooter describes the V3 SE as built for modern high-performance AK builds, and it brings the same core functions as the V2 SE to the V3 platform. For AK players this means you are no longer limited to mechanical contacts or simple MOSFETs, but can have pre-cocking, burst, active braking and cycle detection – plus ongoing improvements through free firmware updates.

Key features and why they matter:
- For V3 gearboxes: Made for the V3 platform, so AK owners get the same app-controlled functions that have long been standard in V2-based M4 replicas.
- Pre-cocking in 200 steps: Fine adjustment of the piston pre-load gives a short time from pull to shot and can be matched precisely to spring and motor.
- Six fire modes: SAFE, SEMI, BINARY, BURST, AUTO and SNIPER on two programmable positions – including a sniper delay of 0.5–3 seconds for DMR setups.
- Brushless-ready with active braking: Supports brushless and high-speed/high-torque motors, and the adaptive brake ensures the piston stops forward for less wear.
- Three profiles and OTA: Save up to three setups, switch between them from the SAFE position, and download new firmware free through the app.
Maintenance and safety
- Installing it in the gearbox requires experience with AEG internals – our workshop in Aulum, Denmark can fit and set up the ETU for you.
- Calibrate the unit after installation as the manufacturer specifies – and avoid scratching or pinching the board, as this can cause a short circuit.
- Use LiPo, LiFe or LiHv batteries within the voltage range, and disconnect the battery after play.
- Keep grease and dirt away from the board and contacts when servicing the gearbox.
