About Borner EasySpring Air Pistol, 4.5 mm BB
The Borner EasySpring is a simple spring-powered air pistol for 4.5 mm steel BBs – an easy place to start if you want to try target shooting in the garden or basement. The pistol is cocked by hand before each shot and uses neither CO2 nor gas, so there are no cartridges to keep track of.
The magazine holds 16 BBs, and the manufacturer states a velocity of up to 60 m/s. The pistol is 200 mm long with a 110 mm barrel and weighs 635 g. The box includes a reusable gel target and a bag of 250 steel BBs in 4.5 mm, so you can get started straight away.
An easy start in air gun shooting
The EasySpring is built for casual plinking, where simplicity matters more than performance.
- Spring-powered: No CO2 cartridges or gas – the pistol is cocked by hand before each shot, so it is always ready and unaffected by cold.
- 4.5 mm steel BB: The pistol shoots steel BBs, not diabolo pellets – choose 4.5 mm steel BBs as ammunition.
- 16-shot capacity: Room for 16 BBs gives plenty of shots between refills.
- Starter kit included: A reusable gel target and 250 BBs are included, so you can shoot from day one.
- Light and compact: At 635 g and 200 mm long, the pistol is easy to hold and handle.
Maintenance and safety
Only shoot at a safe backstop, and be aware that steel BBs can ricochet off hard surfaces – always wear eye protection. Store the pistol unloaded and out of reach of children. Check the air gun regulations in your country before purchase.
