See every shot – even in the dark

Tracer units and glow-in-the-dark tracer BBs, all in one place. Click in the dark and try it yourself.

Tracers

A tracer unit makes your airsoft BBs glow as they leave the barrel, so you can follow the shot all the way to the target. That is what makes night games and indoor CQB in the dark something special, and it is also a practical tool: you see straight away whether you are shooting too high, too low or whether your hop-up is lifting the BB too much. Here we have gathered the tracer units and tracer BBs in one place, so you can find both the unit and the BBs it needs.

We stock tracer units from Acetech, Hank Tactical, ASG (B&T), Nimrod Tactical, E-shooter and Combat Zone Tactical – from small units for pistols to larger models for rifles. For BBs we have Hank Tactical TRACER BIO in green and ASG Blaster in red.

What to look for

  • Tracer BBs are a must: A tracer unit charges the BB with a short flash of light as it passes, and this only works with glow-in-the-dark tracer BBs. Regular white BBs do not glow. Choose the BB weight to suit your gun, just as with your normal BBs.
  • Thread and direction: Most tracers screw onto the barrel or a mock suppressor adapter with a 14 mm thread, but the direction varies: CCW (anticlockwise) is most common on airsoft guns, while some use CW (clockwise). A few guns have 11 mm. Check your gun before you choose – or use a thread adapter.
  • Size and weight: A mini unit suits pistols and short guns without becoming unwieldy, while larger units for rifles often have extra features. Some Acetech models, for example, have a built-in chronograph, so you can measure muzzle velocity in m/s.
  • Green or red: Hank Tactical TRACER BIO glows green and comes in weights from 0.20 g to 0.32 g, while ASG Blaster glows red. Check on the unit's product page whether it is designed for a particular BB colour.
  • Power and charging: Most tracer units run on their own battery. See on the product page which battery type the unit uses and how it is charged, so it is ready when the game starts after dark.

Who it suits

Tracers are for players who play night games, CQB in the dark or simply want to see where their shots land while setting hop-up and sights. They are also a popular add-on for snipers, because the trajectory becomes visible at long range. If you are unsure about the thread or which unit suits your gun, ask us in our shop in Aulum, Denmark, or send us a message – and we will find the right solution.
