ASG Patch (PVC) - Blue

The ASG Patch (PVC) in blue is the classic ActionSportGames logo made as a rubbery PVC patch with velcro (hook side) on the back. The patch has ASG's characteristic leaf shape with "ASG" in large letters and "ActionSportGames" along the edge, and this version has a blue background with a white logo. It attaches directly to the loop panel on plate carriers, vests, caps, backpacks and sleeve pockets on combat shirts.

PVC patches have some practical advantages over embroidered cloth patches: the surface does not absorb water, the edges do not fray, and the colours stay sharp even after many hours of rain and mud on the field. That makes them well suited to airsoft, where gear takes a beating. The blue version stands out against black and green gear and is easy to spot, for example as a team marker.

Maintenance and safety

• Wipe the patch with a damp cloth and a little mild soap – PVC tolerates water, but should not go in the dishwasher or be boiled.
• Remove the patch from clothing before it goes in the washing machine, so the velcro does not catch fibres from other laundry.
• Avoid tumble dryers, irons and direct heat such as a car windscreen in the sun – PVC can soften and warp at high temperatures.
• Lint and grass in the hook side of the velcro are easily removed with a stiff brush or a piece of tape, so the patch keeps holding firmly.
