PARD Leopard 480 35 mm Thermal Spotter

The PARD Leopard 480 (model PA-LE4-35) is a powerful, high-resolution thermal spotter developed for hunters and professional observers who need long range and accurate identification in all light conditions. Thanks to the combination of a 480 thermal sensor and a 35 mm objective, this model strikes a good balance between a wide field of view for scanning and a long detection range. The ergonomic, compact design makes the unit easy to carry in a pocket or bag during active hunting.

Note on regulations: The PARD Leopard 480 is a purely handheld thermal monocular (spotter) with no option for weapon mounting and no integrated reticle. Rules on thermal optics vary across the EU, so check the regulations in your country.

Long detection range, high-resolution sensor and wireless streaming. The thermal spotter's design gives strong observation performance in even the most challenging weather:

• High-resolution 480 sensor and long range: The sensitive 480 sensor delivers a markedly more detailed, sharper thermal image with high contrast compared with smaller standard sensors. With a maximum detection range of up to 1200–1800 m (depending on target size), you can locate and identify game at long range in total darkness, dense fog, haze or through dense vegetation.

• Flexible magnification and fast start-up: The spotter has a base optical magnification of 2x, which can be increased smoothly up to 8x with the 4x digital zoom. The unit starts up quickly, so it is always ready when the moment comes. The physical buttons are designed for intuitive use, so you can easily switch colour palettes and zoom – even with thick gloves on.

• Photo/video recording and PardVision app control: With the built-in Wi-Fi module, the spotter connects wirelessly to your smartphone or tablet via the PardVision2 app. This lets you stream the thermal image in real time and record photos and videos straight to internal storage, so your observations in the field can be documented. The rechargeable battery gives a stable run time of up to 6 hours.
