Build Kit Fitting Service

With this fitting service, our workshop assembles your build kit in your own gun – both AEG kits and sniper kits. We strip the gun, fit the kit's parts, and set it up and lubricate it correctly. On an AEG we shim the gears and adjust the angle of engagement (AOE). On a sniper rifle we fit and adjust the trigger, cylinder and hop-up. Afterwards we measure the velocity on a chronograph and test-fire the gun, so you get it back ready for the field.

An upgraded gun is never better than the way it is assembled. Incorrect shimming, a misaligned hop-up chamber or a trigger that does not engage cleanly with the piston are the most common causes of noise, wear and inconsistent shots after a home-built upgrade. During fitting we also check the original parts that stay in, and let you know if anything should be replaced.

What the fitting service includes

The fitting covers the whole process from strip-down to test-firing:

• Correct engagement in the mechanism: On an AEG the gears are shimmed and the AOE adjusted so the teeth engage cleanly. On a sniper rifle the sear and piston are fitted so the trigger release is consistent and safe.
• Hop-up and barrel: The hop-up chamber and inner barrel are fitted and centred, so the pressure on the bucking is the same from shot to shot.
• Correct lubrication: Gears, cylinder and piston each get the right type and amount of lubrication. Too much grease can be just as harmful as too little.
• Check of the parts that stay in: Original parts are inspected. If there is wear, we contact you before we go any further.
• Chronograph measurement and test-firing: The velocity is measured after fitting, so you know where the gun sits relative to the site limits for your type of gun.

Price, lead time, hand-in, warranty and cancellation

• Fixed price: The price covers the full fitting of the kit and is paid together with the kit when you order. If one of the gun's original parts is worn and should be replaced, we contact you with a price before we do anything.
• Lead time 2–3 weeks: Counted from when we have received the gun – the same lead time as our other workshop jobs.
• Hand in at the shop: You drop the gun off at our shop at Jernbanegade 7 in Aulum, Denmark and collect it again when we let you know.
• Send with a shipping label (extra charge): You receive a label by email to send the gun to us. When the fitting is finished, we send it back to you free of charge.
• 6-month functional warranty on the fitting and 2-year statutory warranty on the new parts. The warranty does not cover the gun's original parts, normal wear, damage from dropping or misuse, batteries, springs or BBs other than those recommended, or modifications after fitting.
• Cancellation: When you order fitting, you ask us to start once we have received your gun. Your right of withdrawal ends when the fitting has been carried out. Fitting is not covered by our extended return policy.

Maintenance and safety

• Send the gun without battery, magazine and gas, and remove optics, lights and other accessories
• Pack the gun in a rifle bag or sturdy cardboard, and put the order number in the parcel
• Have the gun inspected after a season with many game days
