Maple Leaf VSR-10 Hop-Up Chamber (2026)

The Maple Leaf VSR-10 Hop-Up Chamber (2026) is a metal upgrade chamber for the VSR-10 platform – the spring-powered bolt-action sniper rifle that a large number of airsoft sniper builds start from. The chamber sits between the magazine and the inner barrel and holds the hop-up bucking, which gives the BB the backspin that lifts its trajectory and increases effective range.

The stock chamber in a standard VSR-10 is plastic, and this is exactly where many sniper builds run into problems: the adjustment can shift under recoil and transport, and the plastic does not centre the barrel as firmly. A metal chamber from Maple Leaf, known for its VSR and GBB upgrades, is an obvious next step once you have already changed bucking or barrel and want more consistent shots from magazine to magazine.

Why upgrade the hop-up chamber in a VSR-10

The main advantages over the stock chamber:

• Metal instead of plastic: A metal chamber is more dimensionally stable than the factory plastic chamber and holds barrel and bucking in the same position shot after shot. That gives more consistent hop pressure and therefore less vertical spread.
• Made for the VSR-10 platform: The chamber is developed for the Tokyo Marui VSR-10 series, which many other manufacturers' VSR models are also based on.
• More stable hop adjustment: The hop setting is what most often drifts on a sniper rifle. A chamber with firmer adjustment means the setting you find at the range is also the one you have when you get into the game.
• Better foundation for other upgrades: A precision barrel and a good bucking can only perform as well as the chamber allows. With a solid chamber you get the full benefit of your other VSR parts.
• Slider adjustment with locking screw: Hop pressure is adjusted with a slider on top of the chamber, which is locked with a screw. The chamber weighs only 48 g and is 60 mm long.

Maintenance and safety

• Always check that your VSR-10 or clone follows the Tokyo Marui standard before fitting – some clones differ in chamber dimensions.
• Fit the barrel and bucking without dirt or grease in the air path, and clean the barrel after fitting so no grease from assembly is left behind.
• Set the hop-up gradually at the range with the BB weight you play with, and re-zero if you change BB weight.
