GNP Gun Oil, 400 ml

GNP Gun Oil is a gun oil in a 400 ml spray can that cleans, lubricates and protects in the same application. The can has a two-way spray system: a wide spray for large surfaces such as the outside of the barrel and the bolt, and a fixed, fold-up tube for precise application in the action, trigger group and other hard-to-reach places.

The oil is based on GNP's nano technology, where, according to the manufacturer, small particles penetrate the surface structure of the metal, displace moisture and form a friction-reducing, water-repellent film. The manufacturer states a temperature range from -60 °C to +250 °C, so the lubrication neither stiffens on a winter hunt nor disappears from parts that get hot during shooting. The large can is intended for those who maintain several guns or clean regularly.

The most important points:

• Cleans, lubricates and protects (CLP principle): Dissolves powder residue, dust, old grease and light surface rust while lubricating – unlike a pure lubricating oil, which requires a separate clean first.
• Wide temperature range: -60 °C to +250 °C according to the manufacturer. Many ordinary oils become viscous in frost, which can cause sluggish function in the bolt and firing pin.
• Can be applied to wet surfaces: The oil displaces moisture, so you can protect the gun straight after a rainy day's hunting without drying it completely first.
• Two-way spray nozzle with tube: Wide spray or precise jet without loose tubes that disappear in the cleaning kit.
• Gentle on stock and surfaces: Listed as harmless to wood, varnish, paint, rubber and plastic – oil splashes on the stock are not a problem.

Maintenance and safety

• Clean the gun first, then apply a thin film, and wipe off excess oil – too much oil collects dust and fouling.
• Cycle the action a few times after application so the oil spreads into sliding surfaces and springs.
• For airsoft: use the oil on metal parts such as the slide and bolt on GBB guns, but not in the inner barrel or on the hop-up bucking, and not on seals where silicone oil is recommended.
• The can is pressurised: store it away from heat and open flames, and follow the hazard labelling on the packaging.
