How fitting works
Turnaround is 2–3 weeks from when we receive your gun.
- Order the kit and fittingEnter your gun model and gearbox, and tick the box about the right of withdrawal.
- Drop off or send your gunAt our shop in Aulum, Denmark, or with a shipping label. Return shipping is free.
- We build and measureShimming, AOE, lubrication, chronograph reading in m/s with your BB weight, and test firing.
- Get your gun backFixed price 500 kr, paid when you order. We return it free of charge, or you can collect it from the shop.
About the kit
The DMR kit turns your M4 into an accurate long-range AEG. The build is set up for heavy 0.40–0.48 g BBs, low revs and stable single shots – not fast CQB double taps. A 370 mm barrel, a strong spring and a high-torque motor give a consistent trajectory at long range.
Sites often have special rules for DMRs, e.g. semi-only and a longer minimum engagement distance, so always check your site's DMR limit before playing. The kit runs with low current draw and also works in cold weather. The gear set in the 26:1 class is on order and will be added to the kit. You can fit the kit yourself, or let our workshop assemble, shim and test it. When we fit it, we chronograph the velocity and record m/s and BB weight, so the gun stays within the site's limits.
Long range with heavy BBs and stable single shots
- Polycarbonate piston: A piston with a polycarbonate body and steel tooth rack that withstands the strong spring and many single shots without wearing the rack.
- Ultimate Infinity CNC U-35000: A high-torque motor that pulls a strong spring on long gearing without getting hot.
- 370 mm inner barrel: A longer barrel makes use of the air volume from the strong spring and gives a stable trajectory with heavy BBs.
- Maple Leaf Super Macaron hop-up bucking: Chosen for heavy BBs, so they are lifted consistently and hold their line at long range.
- Choice of M140 or M150 spring: Choose according to your site's DMR limit. The whole build is matched to this range.
Maintenance and safety
- Fitting requires disassembly of the gearbox, shimming and correct lubrication. If you haven't done it before, we recommend having it fitted in our workshop
- Always measure velocity with a chronograph after fitting, and stay within the site's limits for your type of replica
- Use an 11.1 V LiPo battery with a suitable discharge rating, and always charge with a balance charger in a LiPo safety bag
- Clean the barrel and hop-up regularly, and inspect the gearbox after a season with many game days
- Always wear approved eye protection during play and testing
