About Luminox Sport Timer Automatic, Black, 42 mm

The Luminox Sport Timer Automatic (XS.0921) is a men's watch for those who want Luminox's robustness in a classic, sporty vintage design. With its Swiss mechanical movement and the combination of a robust steel case and an elegant black leather strap, the watch moves easily from the open sea to the office. It is a mix of traditional watchmaking and toughness.

Precise automatic movement – no battery

The Sport Timer Automatic is driven purely by mechanics and Swiss tradition:

  • Automatic movement (Sellita SW 220-1): The watch uses no battery at all, but draws its energy from your natural movements while you wear it on the wrist. It has a power reserve of 38 hours.

  • See-through caseback: The screw-down caseback has scratch-resistant glass, giving you a direct view of the mechanical movement and the rotating rotor.

  • Ceramic and stainless steel bezel: The unidirectional rotating diver's bezel combines stainless steel with high-polish, scratch-resistant ceramic, which keeps its sharp look without scratching in the field or in daily life.

Materials and strength

  • Black dial with full display: The deep black dial has easy-to-read Arabic numerals and a practical display of both day and date at 3 o'clock.

  • Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal: The dial is protected by an ultra-hard sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, so you always have a clear, reflection-free view of the time, whatever the light.

  • 200 m water resistance: With a 42 mm case in robust 316L stainless steel, a protected screw-down crown and screw-down caseback, the watch has a water resistance of 20 ATM (200 metres), making it suitable for swimming and active use in water.

  • Classic leather strap: The watch comes on a hard-wearing black genuine leather strap (24 mm wide) with a robust stainless steel buckle, which keeps the total weight down to just 95 g.

The watch of course has the Luminox Light Technology (LLT) illumination system. The built-in micro gas tubes on the hands and indices glow continuously in the dark for up to 25 years – without needing to be charged by sunlight or draining energy.
