FX DRS Tactical 600, PCP, .177 (4.5 mm)

The FX DRS Tactical 600 is the middle length in the first generation of the DRS Tactical: a PCP air rifle with a 600 mm barrel, supplied with the FX UG-1 grip but without stock and buffer tube. That makes the rifle an obvious base for shooters who want to put together their own AR15 build for both range and field.

The air reservoir is integrated into the barrel shroud and holds 260 cc on the 600 mm version – 50 cc more than the Tactical 500. That gives more shots per fill, and the extra barrel length gives the projectile more time to accelerate, while the rifle is still 100 mm shorter than the 700 version.

What you get with the FX DRS Tactical 600

The platform is the same as on the 500 and 700 – it is the balance between length and air reserve that defines the 600:

• 600 mm barrel and 260 cc reservoir: A middle ground between the short 500 and the long 700, for shooters who want one rifle for several jobs.
• Modular stock solution: Takes a Mil-Spec buffer tube and an AR15 stock of your choice; the UG-1 grip is factory-fitted. Stock and buffer tube are not included.
• Full-length rails: Picatinny on top and Arca-Swiss under the handguard, plus holes for QD sling swivels, give room for a riflescope, bipod and light.
• Tactical Power plenum and AMP MkII regulator: A 35 cc plenum plus 9 cc in the block is fed by an externally adjustable regulator, and the hammer spring can be adjusted when the stock is not fitted.
• Adjustable two-stage trigger and STX liner: Both stages are adjustable, and the trigger blade can be moved and rotated. The barrel with Superior STX liner has a ½ UNF thread with protector for a moderator.

Maintenance and safety

• Only fill with clean, dry compressed air, and never exceed the maximum pressure stated on the air reservoir and in FX's manual.
• Check the O-rings and seals at the fill probe if pressure drops between shooting days, and keep them out of direct sunlight.
• Use a cleaning pellet if accuracy suddenly changes, and clean without water or chemicals.
• Store the rifle uncocked, unloaded and out of reach of children. Check the air rifle regulations in your country before purchase.
