About FX DRS Pro 700 + Saber Tactical Chassis, Grey, PCP, .177 (4.5 mm)
The FX DRS Pro 700 + Saber Tactical Chassis is a complete precision rifle built from two parts: the FX DRS Pro 700 Base in .177 (4.5 mm) and a Saber Tactical chassis in grey T6 aluminium. The result is a PCP air rifle with a 700 mm barrel and a total weight of 2970 g, intended for benchrest and field target and precise shots from a bipod at longer range.
The set is supplied as separate components. The Pro 700 Base is fitted into the Saber chassis with the included screws – a simple job that does not involve touching the rifle's mechanics. The Pro base comes set up for heavy projectiles from the factory with an SHP plenum and Slug Power kit, and the 307 cc reservoir sits in the barrel shroud, so there is no bottle hanging under the barrel. The chassis adds what a chassis rifle needs: AR-15 pistol grip, height-adjustable cheek piece, bag rider and rails for accessories.
What you get with the set
The Pro 700 Base does the shooting, while the Saber chassis provides fit, stability and room for accessories.
- T6 aluminium chassis: The chassis is stiffer than a wood or polymer stock, so the base sits firmly and consistently from shot to shot. The underside of the fore-end is textured, so the rifle sits well on a shooting bag.
- Arca-Swiss, Picatinny and M-LOK: Arca-Swiss rail along the underside with a short Weaver/Picatinny rail at the front, M-LOK slots underneath and on both sides, plus QD points for a sling. A bipod and tripod mount directly without adapters.
- SHP plenum and Slug Power kit: The Super High Power plenum and slug kit make the Pro base suitable for heavy slugs. The plenum can be swapped for an HP plenum if you want better air economy with diabolos.
- Adjustable regulator, hammer spring and match trigger: The regulator and hammer spring preload can be adjusted so pressure and air consumption suit the projectile. The match trigger is fully adjustable, and the thumb rest can be fitted on either side.
- Superior STX liner and 30 MOA rail: The liner has rifling pressed in from the outside for a smooth bore and can be removed and changed. On top sits a 30 MOA Weaver/Picatinny rail for the riflescope with a spirit level behind it, and the barrel has a ½ UNF thread for a moderator.
Maintenance and safety
- Only fill with clean, dry compressed air, and do not exceed 230 bar.
- Tighten the screws between base and chassis evenly when fitting, and check them after the first few sessions.
- The rifle is supplied at a medium setting. Adjust the regulator and hammer spring in small steps, and check the result with a chronograph.
- Store the rifle unloaded and out of reach of children. Check the air rifle regulations in your country before purchase.
