FX DRS MKII Tactical CB Standard, PCP, .177 (4.5 mm)

The FX DRS MKII Tactical CB Standard is the tactical DRS with an extra air bottle in the stock. With a 600 mm barrel and a total air capacity of 740 cc, it is a PCP air rifle for shooters who want to shoot a whole day on the range or in the field without going back to the scuba tank.

In addition to the reservoir in the barrel shroud, the CB version has an extra reservoir in the stock. According to the distributor, this gives more than twice as much air as a standard DRS MKII Tactical. Because the extra air sits behind the trigger and not under the barrel, the rifle keeps its low profile, and the weight shifts back towards the shoulder.

What sets the DRS MKII Tactical CB Standard apart

Handguard, regulator and barrel system are the same as on the standard Tactical – the difference is the air reserve and the stock:

• 740 cc total air capacity: Reservoir in the barrel shroud plus an extra reservoir in the stock. For comparison, the Tactical Standard without a stock reservoir has 260 cc.
• 600 mm barrel: The middle length in the series, giving a good balance between handling and sight radius – and with the large air reserve, an obvious candidate for an all-round rifle.
• Aluminium handguard: Picatinny on top and Arca-Swiss underneath, both full length, M-LOK slots on the sides and underside, and holes for QD sling swivels.
• AMP MKII regulator: Externally adjustable regulator and adjustable hammer spring preload, so output pressure and air consumption can be matched to diabolo or slug.
• Superior STX liner and 30 MOA rail: Smooth rifling pressed in from the outside, changeable without emptying the system of air, and a 30 MOA Picatinny rail for the riflescope.

Maintenance and safety

• Only use clean, dry compressed air, and never fill above FX's maximum system pressure of 230 bar.
• Keep the regulator below 180 bar, and do not keep shooting below the set regulator pressure.
• Use a cleaning pellet if accuracy drops, and check the seals if the rifle loses air.
• Store the rifle dry, unloaded and out of reach of children. Check the air rifle regulations in your country before purchase.
