FX DRS MKII Classic Synthetic Standard, PCP, .177 (4.5 mm)

The FX DRS MKII Classic Synthetic Standard is a regulated PCP air rifle in .177 (4.5 mm) with a 600 mm barrel and a black synthetic stock. The overall length is 1052 mm and the weight 2490 g, which makes the Standard a versatile all-rounder: short enough to carry hunting, but with enough barrel length for accurate shooting on the range.

The Classic model has a traditional rifle profile, but without the air cylinder you normally see under the barrel. The reservoir sits in the barrel shroud and on the Standard holds 260 cc at up to 230 bar – 50 cc more than the Compact. The synthetic stock has a soft-touch surface that gives a secure grip, even when it rains, and needs no care. Cocking is by a light sidelever from a 16-shot magazine.

What you get in the Classic Synthetic Standard

The Standard sits in the middle of the Classic series, with the same MKII technology as both the Compact and the Sniper.

• 600 mm barrel – the middle ground: The barrel is 100 mm longer than on the Compact and gives the air more time to accelerate the projectile, while the rifle is still shorter and lighter than the Sniper version.
• 260 cc reservoir in the barrel shroud: The integrated reservoir keeps the profile low and the weight close to the barrel's axis, and the larger air volume than on the Compact gives more shots between fills.
• Soft-touch synthetic stock: The black stock is maintenance-free and withstands moisture and temperature changes better than an untreated wooden stock. The coating gives a secure grip with wet gloves.
• AMP regulator and 25 cc plenum: The externally adjustable AMP MKII regulator and the enlarged power plenum let you match pressure and air volume precisely to your diabolo or slug.
• Liner change without degassing: The Superior liner with Smooth Twist X (STX) rifling can be changed without emptying the system. The trigger is two-stage and fully adjustable, and the 30 MOA Picatinny rail gives wide mounting freedom.

Maintenance and safety

• Only use clean, dry compressed air, and never fill above 230 bar.
• Inspect the O-rings at the fill port and magazine regularly, and replace them at signs of wear.
• The synthetic stock needs no special care – wipe it with a damp cloth after use in rain and dirt.
