About T4E TB 68
The Umarex T4E TB 68 is a .68 calibre training marker in shotgun form, with looks inspired by the classic Franchi SPAS-12. It is 638 mm long, weighs 1600 g and has a built-in tube magazine for 16 projectiles, making it suitable for scenario training and target shooting where you want a marker with the balance and two-handed hold of a long gun.
The marker is powered by one 12 g CO2 cartridge, and according to the supplier a full magazine can be fired on one cartridge. The TB 68 has Umarex's Quick-Piercing system: the cartridge can sit in the marker unpierced and is only activated with a light tap when needed. This spares the seals, because the system is not under pressure during storage. Energy is up to 16 joules, and the marker uses T4E .68 projectiles, e.g. T4E Performance rubber balls .68. Note that the TB 68 has no pump function, even though its shape resembles a pump-action shotgun.
.68 training marker in shotgun format
What you get with the TB 68:
- 16-round tube magazine: Many shots between reloads compared with a revolver cylinder, and the magazine sits protected inside the marker.
- Up to 16 joules: The .68 calibre gives a large, clearly visible projectile, well suited to training and target shooting at short range.
- Quick-Piercing: The CO2 cartridge is only activated when you need it, so the marker can be stored ready but without pressure.
- Double action trigger: Every shot needs a full trigger pull, and a push-button safety sits by the trigger.
- Picatinny rails: 20 mm rails for sights and a light, and the barrel is 330 mm long.
Maintenance and safety
- Empty the magazine and release any remaining gas after use, and store the marker without pressure.
- Clean the barrel regularly with a T4E cleaning rod in .68 calibre – especially after using chalk or marking projectiles.
- Put a drop of silicone oil on each new CO2 cartridge to keep the seals supple.
- Always wear eye protection, and check the regulations in your country for buying, transporting and using training markers.
