About Storm Air Cleaning Pull-Through, .177 (4.5 mm)
The Storm Air pull-through for .177 (4.5 mm) air guns is used to pull dirt, lead residue and excess oil out of the barrel. A clean barrel is a precondition for pellets behaving the same from shot to shot.
The pull-through fits air rifles and air pistols in .177 (4.5 mm) calibre.
Pull-through – what you need to know
- Pull in the direction of fire: The cord is pulled through the barrel from the breech towards the muzzle, so dirt is pushed out rather than into the mechanism.
- .177 (4.5 mm) only: The cord is sized for 4.5 mm barrels. For .22 (5.5 mm) you need a pull-through in that calibre.
- Takes up no space: The pull-through fits in your bag, so you can clean the barrel at the range.
Who is it for?
The pull-through suits anyone with a .177 (4.5 mm) air gun. For heavy lead fouling, a cleaning rod with a brush can be more effective.
Maintenance and safety
Make sure the gun is unloaded and uncocked before cleaning. Clean, for example, when accuracy drops or when you change pellet brand, and use only a little oil in the barrel.
