Hank Tactical Mesh Lower Face Mask, 2-Piece

The Hank Tactical 2-piece mesh lower face mask protects the mouth, nose and lower face in airsoft. The front is a metal mesh grille, while the sides at the cheeks are covered with soft mesh fabric, and the mask is held in place by an adjustable strap with a buckle behind the head. It is worn together with shooting glasses so the whole face is covered.

A mesh lower face mask is the most common alternative to a full mask: you protect your teeth and lips, but avoid the heat and fogged lenses that a closed mask often brings. The metal mesh lets air pass freely, so you can breathe and talk normally, while the soft fabric at the cheeks still lets you get a cheek weld on the stock and aim. What you get with the mask:

Maintenance and safety

• Always wear approved shooting glasses with the mask – it does not cover the eyes.
• Check regularly that the metal mesh is intact with no sharp edges or holes, and replace the mask if the grille is damaged.
• Rinse it with lukewarm water and a little mild soap after use, and let it dry completely so the metal does not rust.
• Store it so the grille is not squashed flat in your bag – a deformed grille seals less well against your glasses.
