About Opinel No. 9 Folding Knife, Beech
The Opinel No. 9 is a classic French folding knife with a beech wood handle and a carbon steel blade. It is used for outdoor life, hunting and cooking on the trail.
The blade is 90 mm long and made from XC90 carbon steel, and the knife has Opinel's Virobloc safety ring.

- XC90 carbon steel: The steel is hard, takes a keen edge and is easy to sharpen. On the other hand, it can rust if it is not wiped dry.
- Virobloc ring: Turn the ring to lock the blade in the open position so it cannot fold during use.
