About HHA Axe Type C
The HHA Type C axe is a compact axe for hiking and camp life. The handle stores both a small saw and a fire steel, so you have the essentials for a campfire in one tool.
The axe is 360 mm long and weighs 820 g.
HHA Axe Type C – key features
- Metal head and polymer handle: The axe head is metal, while the simple polymer handle gives a good grip.
- Saw in the handle: A small saw with a metal blade and polymer handle sits inside the handle and is used for twigs and small firewood.
- Fire steel: Included so you can light a fire – it can be used with both the axe and the saw.
- Sheath with carry options: The edge is protected by a polymer sheath with both a carry handle and a belt clip.
Who is it for?
The axe suits hikers and scouts who want a light all-in-one tool for fire and camp. For splitting larger logs, a bigger axe with a longer handle is a better choice.
Maintenance and safety
Always fit the sheath when the axe is not in use, and keep the edge sharp and dry. Always chop away from your body and keep others at a distance.
