MAXX Single UV LED Board

The MAXX Single UV LED Board is a tracer solution that fits directly into the MAXX ME and MI hop-up chambers. A circuit board with a single UV LED sits on one side of the chamber and charges tracer BBs as they pass through the hop-up, so you can see the trajectory in the dark without a tracer unit on the muzzle.

A classic tracer unit screws onto the barrel and makes the gun longer and more front-heavy. By building the light into the hop-up chamber, you keep the gun's length and can still use the flash hider or mock suppressor of your choice. On the opposite side of the chamber there is a transparent vinyl cover, so you can see whether any BBs are left in the chamber. The set consists of the LED board, a clear cover and an electronics module with wiring harness.

Tracer built into the MAXX ME/MI hop-up

What you need to know about the board:

• Tracer in the hop-up: No unit on the muzzle – the gun keeps its length and balance, and the muzzle is free for other accessories.
• Only for MAXX ME/MI: The board is designed for MAXX ME and MI hop-up chambers and does not fit other chambers.
• Wide voltage range: Works from 7 to 15 V, i.e. 2–4 cell LiPo or 6–13 cell NiCd, so it suits most AEG batteries.
• Works with drop-in MOSFETs: Compatible with GATE TITAN and Spectre Mk.II, so you do not have to choose between a tracer and a MOSFET.
• Clear cover: A transparent vinyl cover on the other side of the chamber shows any BBs left in the hop-up.

Maintenance and safety

• The board is powered via two ring terminals on the motor's screw terminals: red to positive and black to negative. Never reverse the polarity.
• Professional fitting is recommended – our workshop in Aulum, Denmark can install the board for you.
• Use tracer BBs, e.g. Hank Tactical Tracer BIO 0.28 g; ordinary BBs do not light up.
• Keep the clear cover and the LED free of dirt and silicone, so the light reaches the BBs.
