About Hatsan Flash QE, .177 (4.5 mm), PCP
The Flash QE is Hatsan's lightweight sidelever PCP and one of the most affordable rifles in the range. At 2680 g it is one of the lightest PCP air rifles Hatsan makes, and an obvious choice as a first PCP.
In .177 (4.5 mm) Hatsan quotes up to 325 m/s and 30 J. The fixed 165 cc cylinder is filled to 200 bar and gives about 100 shots per fill, of which around 48 are at optimum velocity.
Hatsan Flash QE – what you need to know
- Lightweight: 2680 g and 1075 mm – for comparison, the AT44-10 weighs 3300 g.
- 14-shot magazine: A single-shot adapter is also included if you prefer to load pellet by pellet.
- QuietEnergy: Fully shrouded barrel with an integrated moderator, according to Hatsan around 50 % quieter. The barrel is 450 mm.
- Synthetic stock: A polymer stock that copes with wind and weather better than wood.
- Mounting: Scope rail for 11 mm and 22 mm mounts.

For shooters who want to try PCP without a big investment – or who want a light rifle that is easy to take along.
Maintenance and safety
Never fill above 200 bar. The cylinder is fixed, so the rifle is filled directly. A PCP pump is sold separately: see pumps and compressors here. Store the rifle unloaded with the magazine removed.
