Blaster Tracer BBs, 0.25 g, 3300 pcs, Red

ASG Blaster Tracer 0.25 g are 6 mm airsoft BBs that glow red after being lit by a tracer unit. The bottle contains 3300 BBs. The BBs are made for night games and dark indoor sites, where you otherwise cannot see where your shots are going.

Note that the BBs do not glow by themselves. They have to be "charged" by the light from a tracer unit fitted to the barrel – typically shaped like a mock suppressor – such as the HT Tracer Unit. Without a tracer unit they behave like ordinary BBs. For normal daytime play without a tracer unit, Hank Tactical BIO BBs in the same weight are the obvious choice.

ASG Blaster Tracer 0.25 g – what you get

What you need to know about the BBs:

• Red tracer: The BBs glow red once they have passed the tracer unit, so you can see the BB's flight path in the dark and adjust your aim and hop-up to it.
• Requires a tracer unit: The glow comes from a luminous coating activated by the tracer unit's light. Without a unit on the gun, the BBs do not glow.
• Diameter 5.96–5.98 mm: ASG states a range of 0.02 mm. That is tight for a tracer BB and gives a more consistent seal in the inner barrel than cheap BBs with greater variation.
• 0.25 g weight: A versatile weight for gas pistols and AEGs up to around 100 m/s measured with 0.20 g. It holds a steadier flight path than 0.20 g and is therefore a good choice for most night games.
• 3300 pcs per bottle: The bottle is resealable, so the BBs stay clean and dry between game days.

Maintenance and safety

• Keep the bottle closed and dry – moisture and dirt on the BBs cause feeding problems and inconsistent shots.
• ASG does not list the BBs as biodegradable, so check the site rules before using them outdoors.
• Never use BBs that have been on the ground, as they can damage the inner barrel and hop-up bucking.
• Always wear approved eye and face protection – also when shooting in the dark.
