The story of Handelshuset Aulum
Handelshuset Aulum was founded in 1993 under the name B.K. Fiskegrej. Bjarne Kristensen started at home in his private home by making fishing tackle himself and selling it around the premises. This was a success and just as slowly this became a shop with fishing equipment and tackles! In 1998, the company could not be accommodated at home and Bjarne bought the current location for Handelshuset Aulum, Jernbanegade 7 in Aulum, which was previously a SPAR store. Here, Bjarne started out with fishing gear, fishing equipment and not least a flea market in the rest of the store. In the year 2000, Bjarne took a trip to China with a colleague and opened his eyes to hardball/softguns/airsoft and bought a few containers here, it has proven to be a resounding success and is today our main area in the company. Over time, there have been many different articles in the store, where toys and Diddl can be mentioned as major product groups. Around 2005-2006, the company got a webshop where the hardball part could be sold online! In the beginning this was not huge, but as time went by and the internet became more popular, the turnover on the website also increased. Today, we can boast that half of our sales are on the Internet!
Bjarne sold Handelshuset Aulum to his grandson Kenneth Storm Jessen on 1/1-2017, who owns the company today! Kenneth has been involved for many years and has just as quietly risen through the ranks to become store manager in 2016.
Facts about Handelshuset Aulum
In the store, we have a selection of more than 5200 item numbers within airsoft, hardball, softguns & airguns + accessories for airguns. It's a huge selection of everything you could almost want in hardball and air rifles!
We therefore have approx. 400 pistols and rifles in total - All different, so there's something for everyone.
Handelshuset Aulums vision/goals
At Handelshuset Aulum, we always strive to be able to provide the best possible service to our customers. We have competent employees employed both in the store and in our service department who can help the customer with exactly what will be needed. Most of our employees are active in sports and are persistent plastic warriors!
We want customers to have a really good experience by shopping with us and will do so again on their next purchase. We do this by providing good service and advice in the store. If you live far away or cannot come to the store, we always work to make our webshop more clear and user-friendly to ensure you the best possible experience at Handelshuset Aulum. We hope that the customers will choose us, but if the price forces you to choose Handelshuset, we offer price matching against the other stores in Denmark, so if the product is found cheaper elsewhere in Denmark, we will match the price!
We always strive to be Denmark's largest, best and most complete hardball store in Denmark!
