From the Gamo's Power Family comes Gamo Black Maxxim. The air rifle here has been designed over a classic Black 1000 Maxxim stock and has been stuffed with Gamo's latest technologies such as Gamo Power Cylinder, CAT Extractor, SWA Anti Recoil System and RRR to provide even less recoil.
The rifle has a lot of smart features such as their RRR (Recoil Reducing Rail) which makes the rifle recoil up to 100% less which means that the air rifle here does not smash a scope so quickly. It is often seen that if the scopes are not made for use on a good solid air rifle, then the binoculars can break.
In addition to this particular feature, there is also their SWA (Shock Wave Absorber) system which is small pads inserted at the back of the stock at the rear leg. This absorbs up to 74% of the recoil coming from the rifle when firing and provides a more stable second shot.
One really nice technology Gamo has used on this particular rifle is their CAT technology. CAT stands for Custom Action Trigger and allows you to adjust the 2-stage trigger that sits on the rifle. Having a 2 step system allows you to prepare the shot faster by pushing the trigger in and then giving it the final push and shoot. This can be adjusted as you get the deduction exactly as you want.
